Made some progress on Ready Made Reviews test.
You can see my first post on this test here.
Here’s how it works. Every month you get a review based on a topic. This month was blogging. The idea is that you upload the review to a unique domain name like, for example, BestBloggingReviews.com. You then purchase Adwords based on keywords they provide. They also provide a dozen articles a month you can use to promote your review site. I’ve decided to go about it a bit differently. I plan to use one single URL for everything and I’m using a free WORD PRESS blog as the primary content management system. I’m using the free articles as blog content. See my site here:

Then I’m adding the ready made reviews on sub-directories. Here’s this month’s review:

In the next week I will purchase Adwords traffic and report how well the review page converts. I also want to begin getting organic search traffic so I’ll start with basic SEO work which includes purchasing backlinks from this site: http://www.cbengine.com/cbe/web.cfm?hop=pooketss
And posting a couple of articles on Ezinearticles.com.
Ready Made Reviews also provides canned mailers for newsletter. I haven’t gotten mine set up yet, but will in the coming week. The program is $37 per month, I upgraded to $47 a month plan for video reviews. You’ll need to invest some money for a domain name and hosting and you’ll need to spend money for newsletter management from Aweber.com. I’m going to attempt to set up my own mailer system via a listserve to save money. But overall the program and added expenses are reasonably priced and reasonbly easy to set up.
I’m still skeptical about Google’s duplicate content filter and being able to get any decent ranking in the search engines, but am pleased with the quality of the reviews. I’ll keep you posted as this test moves along. Let’s hope it makes money!
